Dan Rowlands

Dan Rowlands is a seasoned maritime professional with over 16 years of experience managing terminal and marine operations across major U.S. ports, including San Diego, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Oakland, San Francisco, Puget Sound, and Hawaiian Islands.
Joining The Pasha Group in 2017, he currently serves as Senior Vice President of Pasha Maritime, overseeing complex logistics involving Ro/Ro, container, break bulk, project cargo, and labor relations, demonstrating a deep understanding of the operational and strategic needs of the maritime transportation system. Dan was instrumental in the integration of Pasha Hawaii’s new LNG vessels into operation at the Port of Long Beach, as well as successfully launching the first EV automotive exports via Pier 80 at the Port of San Francisco.
Mr. Rowlands has been appointed to serve on the Pacific Maritime Association’s Coast Steering Committee, playing a crucial role in labor relations and operational standards representing various stakeholders in the maritime industry. A graduate of Washington State University, Dan majored in Criminal Justice and was a Pac-10 athlete.
