Rickey Childs

Rickey Childs has more than 25 years of experience in the maritime and logistics industry. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Logistics for The Pasha Group, where he oversees the company’s end-to-end transportation and warehousing operations, managing both labor and management functions related to cargo handling. In this role, he is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service, optimizing operational efficiency and productivity, and ensuring the achievement of key operational and financial objectives.
Mr. Childs joined The Pasha Group in 2022 as Vice President of Pasha International, where he partnered with key customers to launch a series of dedicated international vessel services. These services delivered an end-to-end transit solution designed to address challenges stemming from global supply chain disruptions.
Prior to joining The Pasha Group, Mr. Childs served as Vice President of Labor Relations for APL, Ltd., part of the CMA CGM Group. His previous leadership roles include General Manager of Eagle Marine Services overseeing stevedoring operations in Los Angeles and Oakland, Director of Operations for Latin America, and Special Project Manager for an international cost-saving initiative that took him to 14 countries and generated millions of dollars in savings.
Mr. Childs holds an Executive Master of Science in Transportation with a concentration in Supply Chain from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UCLA. He serves on the boards of the Pacific Maritime Shipping Association (PMSA) and the Transportation and Supply Chain Institute (TSCI) at the University of Denver. He is also an active mentor with EXP Opportunity Engine, an organization dedicated to helping young people gain experience, build confidence, and succeed in school, career, and life.
