Third-generation family-owned global logistics and transportation company creates leadership position in response to the company’s continued growth and expansion.

The Pasha Group (“Pasha”) has appointed Raymond Fitzgerald as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective October 1, 2026. In conjunction with this appointment, company owner George Pasha, IV has transitioned from his previous role as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to Chairman and CEO, reflecting a strategic evolution in the company’s leadership structure.

Fitzgerald brings more than 30 years of experience leading complex, multibillion-dollar logistics, shipping and transportation enterprises. He joins Pasha after serving most recently as Executive Advisor to the CEO, and previously COO, at Crowley. Before that, Fitzgerald spent two decades in senior global leadership roles at Wallenius Wilhelmsen, including President and COO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen and CEO of American Roll-on Roll-off Carriers, where he worked closely with the U.S. Department of Defense on national security logistics.

“Ray is widely respected across our industry for building trust-based cultures, leading through major transformation, and delivering results without losing sight of the people who make those results possible,” said George Pasha, IV, Chairman and CEO. “This position on our executive leadership team ensures we continue to have the structure, leadership depth, and operational focus needed to support continued growth, strengthen our execution, and position the company for the future, while also upholding the Pasha family legacy and corporate culture.”

In his new role, Fitzgerald will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and long-term priorities for all operating divisions and subsidiaries at Pasha. He will report directly to Pasha, IV, whose focus will remain on long-term strategy, growth opportunities, strengthening key business relationships and the future direction of the company. “I remain fully engaged with our company and partners,” added Pasha, IV. “Welcoming someone of Ray’s caliber as our COO strengthens the leadership leverage necessary to ensure both day-to-day operations and long-term priorities receive the attention they deserve, especially as the company continues to grow and evolve.”

"I've had the privilege of knowing George for a long time and have worked closely with many talented leaders across this organization, so I've seen firsthand the character and commitment that define this team,” said Ray Fitzgerald. “What has always stood out to me is how Pasha has stayed true to its family-owned values through three generations of leadership since 1942, never losing sight of the people who drive its success. I'm honored to build on that legacy alongside George and the entire Pasha family, and I'm energized to sharpen our operations, deliver for our customers, and support the people who make those results possible. This is a company with a remarkable past and an even brighter future, and I couldn't be more excited to help shape what comes next."

Pasha’s hiring of Fitzgerald is another forward stride for the enterprise, which in recent years has launched multiple liquid natural gas-powered (LNG) vessels; continues nearing completion of the Kapalama Container Terminal (KCT) in Honolulu, HI; has expanded its logistics footprint and services in the Pacific Northwest; and pushes the envelope on alternative energy asset transport and bunkering.
