Corte Madera, CA -The Pasha Group, a diversified global transportation services and logistics company, announced today that GLOVIS America, Inc., has committed to a three-year agreement with Pasha Automotive Services ("PAS") at their National City Marine Terminal facility in the Port of San Diego. GLOVIS, the Costa Mesa, CA-based U.S. division of the South Korean integrated logistics provider for the Hyundai and Kia automobile brands, has chosen PAS to provide processing operations for vehicles destined to their Texas inland port storage and accessory/processing locations in Alliance (Hyundai) and Midlothian (Kia). The anticipated annual volume for the combined traffic is in excess of 50,000 units. All models will be sent through the Port of San Diego, with the exception of Hyundai's Sonata and Santa Fe, which are assembled in Alabama.

Both brands ship with EUKOR Car Carriers, Inc., ("EUKOR") one of the world's largest automobile transport lines. In a related development, EUKOR has contracted with Pasha Stevedoring & Terminals L.P. ("PST") to provide automotive stevedoring services at the Port of San Diego. PST and PAS were both involved in the recent highly successful offload of Kias from EUKOR's Morning Menad at the Port of Grays Harbor, WA. George Pasha, IV, Pasha's President and CEO, notes, "The terminal and operating processes provided by these two busi¬ness units in a last-minute diversion to Grays were performed under extraordinary circumstances, and exemplified the Pasha 'can do' attitude.

PST has met several times with EUKOR Captains Jong Hwan Jo and Alex Tejada, as well as Mr. Seung Hyun Nam, EUKOR's Head of Region North America. The shipping line has reviewed our vessel reporting system and terminal operations in San Diego and enthusiastically endorses PST as the stevedore of choice." Glenn Clift, Vice President and COO of GLOVIS America, comments, "We have had an excellent business relationship with the Pasha Group for several years. Pasha Distribution Services manages the logistics for Hyundai and Kia vehicles from Southern California to the Port of San Diego, where they are transported to Hawaii dealers via Pasha Hawaii's Roll-On/Roll-Off carrier, the Jean Anne. The GLOVIS philosophy is 'When Performance and Quality Matter' and we choose our partners in transportation based on those criteria."

The first EUKOR vessel is scheduled to arrive on July 20, with a second vessel due August 4. This additional traffic will provide new jobs and a welcome uptick to the economy in National City.

The Pasha Group has been involved in cargo handling/logistics and terminal operations for over 60 years, with current port facilities at the ports of San Diego and Los Angeles, California, and Baltimore, Maryland. More information can be found at www.pashagroup.com.
