Pasha Hawaii was recognized for consistently making safety a priority at the Chamber of Shipping of America [1] (CSA) 57th Annual Devlin and Safety Achievement Awards on June 17, 2025 in New Orleans. Thirty-five companies and several VIPs attended the event to celebrate seafarers and companies of 1,177 vessels with over 7,693 years of operation without a lost time incident.
Kathy Metcalf, CSA’s President and CEO said: “CSA’s members are committed to safe operations and CSA’s involvement in safety is longstanding with our ongoing commitment to represent the industry, domestically and internationally, on safety issues encompassing every facet of ship operations. It is only fitting that an industry so focused on safety, publicly recognizes the skills and dedication of the women and men who have enabled these many years of safe operations and who are responsible for actions in keeping with the highest traditions of the sea – aid to those in peril.”
George Pasha, IV, President and CEO, Pasha Hawaii added: “We are incredibly proud of our Officers, crew, and operations teams at Pasha Hawaii for their dedication to safety and environmental excellence, both at sea and ashore. This award is a testament to their hard work and outstanding collaboration.”
